This is a monthly series where deviants may send in a maximum of five thumbs they feel are deserving of more attention. Each suggester, is encouraged to write a short description of what they have suggested but this is not required. Suggesters are not limited to any gallery and may suggest themselves.

Galahvastov by bazaroff
bazaroff is an aspiring cubist with a fresh and exciting style.  I was thrilled when I first stumbled across him, and immediately began watching.  My favorite pieces of his are those that blend his abstract eye with a more realist approach, though I also love his straight-up cubism.  He's very humble about his abilities, which is lovely; with works as wonderful as his, conceit could come very easily.

TerryBizarro has a blisteringly unique approach to colored pencil and has a gallery that's trippy and thrilling to wander through.  I love her surreal portraiture, but she also does excellent abstract work and has an affinity for the psychedelic.  I really believe she is going great places, and I want to be there for that.

kheb has an immense gallery of poetry full of stunning imagery and masterful wordplay, including an epic in six parts ("Silencetempt").  Each section of the gallery is arranged like a collection of related works, and it's exciting to hypothesize about their inspiration.  My favorites are the poems with a strong narrative voice, as in "Slow Burn" above.  Definitely worth a visit (and a watch).

Prickly Pear by Elsma
Elsma is an established deviant, but I feel like she is underappreciated.  She has the sense of having passed out of favor with many of her watchers, but to my eye, she is just getting better.  She has a sense of the surreal that seems completely unique to me.  My favorite pieces are those that marry her loose, fluid watercolor technique with the tight controlled shading that characterizes her pencil drawings.  That's just tasty.

TECHNOstorm by derLarm
derLarm is the best abstract artist I've ever encountered on DA.  Every painting, drawing, and sketch is saturated with brilliance, executed with a savage radial grace that stops me in my tracks, robs me of breath, and forces me to restart my heart every time.  He is a full-fledged phenomenon and I think everyone on DA should know about him.

JoeBostonPhotography photography is jaw-dropping gorgeous and his "eye" for amazing pictures is tremendous and yet his photographs will have less than 50 or 100 views!! Please check out his gallery and you'll see what I mean.

ShivaShanti is a great artist, way under the radar, being with us for nearly a year now. Into photography and photomanipulation, mostly, he has a broad gallery and a great selection of work. And a ridiculously low number of comments :P Heres a few pieces that really stood out for me.

Spidy by ShivaShanti
Spidy, his featured piece of work, really jumps out, with the colour and composition, along with the tiny hairs and details, all taken on a "cheap and poor camera"

beautiful day by ShivaShanti
beautiful day is a good example of his photomanipulation work, the clouds and lighting looking quite surreal

Italy by ShivaShanti
Italy is another photomanipulation piece, where he shows his first attempt on HDR [High Dynamic Range (Imaging)]

Le Monde by ShivaShanti
Le Monde is a brilliant macro shot, really intriguing with its unique colours as well as the light and shadow involved.

Mary by ShivaShanti
Mary is an example of his traditional work, with his gallery including a few drawn pieces along with his photographic and digital work. Brilliantly detailed and shaded, he holds many skills for a person with less than 500 pageviews. Please give him the time and take a look through his gallery yourself, for another Unknown Artist.

Enchantment by Cocodrillo
The artist managed to create a fantastical universe, fulll of poetry and magicks; you can notice this by the lighting, the constant greenie colors in her creations. this one is particularly attractive.

The marsh monster by PavelE
