600 DA Point Raffle + New Prizes!First of all while I am in bed sick I might as well update somethings that have been bothering me for a while, like my last journal skin.  There were some nasty bugs that I couldn't solve so here I will start out with a new skin and work it slowly over time to be more of what I want it to be. =)

How did you first discover deviantART?
:happybounce: I never knew about the internet until I was about 7 or 8 years old, where I would just play games on there once in a while. When I was about 11, I browsed around the internet a little more often, and ended up reading fanfiction of some movies and TV shows :shrug:. I looked at some of the profiles of authors, and some linked their dA accounts. I browsed around that deviantART for a short time and dismissed it as nothing.
Shortly after turning 13, my English teacher made my class participate in the National Novel Writing Month where I typed my fingers off over 21,000 words and became an active member in the forums. After almost one year, someone posted a thread about deviantART. I visited this wonderful community again, an
SPANK ME! For CharityThis was inspired from a few things. After the birthday I was playing around with my avatar and thought I might create a game involving it but then I thought of *Topicality's recent endeavor and decided to turn it into something for charity instead.
The charity I have selected is LUMOS, which was co-founded by JK Rowling.
My goal is $1,000 USD
This will last until the goal is met or September 16, 2011.

How did you first discover deviantART?
:strip: I first discovered deviantART because of a web design class I took with my sister and a friend. Our teacher wanted us to use stock for mock pages and we ended up finding dA. My sister and friend joined dA and I just kinda watched them. I wasn't much of an online type back then. I managed my sister's page when she made her side portfolio account and started scanning in her older works. So when I took over `PainInTheAssimilated, I kinda already knew what I was doing.  
What was it about dA that made you want to stay?
:strip: I just kinda wanted to blow time when I was in college. I just started posting stuff, to see how long it'd take before I got banned for simply being me. Turns out I'm not ban worthy yet :XD:.

What is the story behind your username?

:beer: Because I'm senile, I don't quite remember. But I think someone tipped me about it as a place to post my nerdy Tolkien drawings. This was before Photoshop got a hold on me.
What was it about dA that made you want to stay?
:beer: The whole interactive aspect. Connecting with other artists, making friends, soaking up inspiration.

What is the story behind your username?
:beer: 'Tis a boring story. I was 'Wilder Wein' on a Rammstein forum for many years (It's the title of a song and means 'wild wine'). When I signed up on dA, that was the first thing that came to mind. Of course 'WilderWein' was taken so I slapped my year of birth at the end. Told you it was boring. If I could change it, I probably would. Are you on it, dA? :trollface:

So what does it take to become a Senior? That's a question many have asked and have never really been able to get a straight answer on. Some have gained Seniority as a thank you for their time spent as a Volunteer, or to recognise their contribution to a particular project or collaborative action. How did you first discover deviantART?
:hug: I heard of DA because of a friend who was a member since a few months. He knew I loved to photograph too. So, I am on here since more than two years now.
What was it about dA that made you want to stay?
:hug: Oh, at first, I was thrilled to upload some of my photos on Internet and to receive feedback.
Just know that it was my very first real experience on Internet, I was just going on there for my work and for emails before.
Little by little, I got in contact with other deviants, exchanging comments, making friends, etc. As I am quite talkative, all of this happened fast enough...
Also, I like the way DA is working, the framing, the many possibilities it offers, like journals, articles, polls, statistics and many other features. I am very at ease on its environment.

What is the story behind your username?

Random Emote Awesomeness - Volume 11Volume 11 in the series that showcases a random variety of emoticons: some old, some new, some by seasoned emoticonists, some by new artists. There's no real rhyme or reason as to which pieces are featured. Sometimes I pick a theme such as animals, other times it's just whatever strikes my fancy. Blurple's Hidden Code Game

Usually contests and the like are give some introduction as to their purpose or reason for being started in the first place.

This one has no reason at all for existing other than for pure fun. :D


Actually what you are being tasked with will lead to the release of Queen Meow of the Kitty Nation. She has been captured by a highly organized group of thugs known as the Mudkipors. It is speculated that the Mudkipors were hired to carry out this atrocious deed by Lord Furball, a member of the royal court who seeks the throne. Lets not speak of this further, members of the Mudkipors are not known for their intelligence (in most cases only knowing how to say one word) but they do have allies. For Her Majesty's sake, just keep smiling and read on...
